Pigs Of A Feather, Flock Together

Today radio host Jennifer Mather of CKNW, Vancouver,  interviewed the author of,  "Does your vote count?" During that discussion the author threw out the figure "2,000"  to hi-light how many "appointees and  annointees" the Prime Minister controls directly or directly. These are key positions and have no accountability or responsibility to you, the voter.

As most Canadians understand that the 105 Senators and the 9 Supremes are just the infamous tip of a regime that strictly operates on the nepotism of political brothers and sisters and an incestuous relationship, where so many owe so much to to one person. One wonders how any concept of democracy remains. ONLY IN CANADA!.

Two thousand RedWineski`s and Queen Clarksons with their entourages, wallowing in the troughs of pork and champagne are just two examples of the thousands of civil servants who are spending the incredible  $180 billion budget. Blown away with scant oversight  by the 301 elected. Indeed, a monumental task, 301 chasing 2,000 on a $180B shopping spree and nary a  receipt anywhere? So next time you look at  your pay cheque devastated by federal taxes, ask a simple question, "brothers and sisters, can you spare a dime"?  For our military, our highways, our medical system, our defunct pension plans, blah, blah, add nauseum, add infinitum?

One listener asked, "what would you do to change it?"  --- "Well, our politicians claim to offer peace, order and good government, and as we are losing these constitutionally contracted  promises is it not time to turf the incumbent 2,000 Ottawa trough-ites and install the checks and balances of a Constitutional Republic?"

HAD ENOUGH  YET?
